What: Oktoberfest Montreal 2019 When: September 20, 2019 Where: Jetee Alexandra in the Old Port, 200 rue de la Commune Ouest Why: Fundraiser for the students of AvH and the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation The organization Friends of the Alexander von Humboldt German International School (AvH) in Baie D’Urfé is very excited to host the 4th Oktoberfest in Montreal on September 20, 2019. Taking place at the Jetée Alexandra in the Old Port (200 rue de la Commune Ouest), this year’s event promises to be an entertaining evening and an authentic cultural experience with Schuhplattler dancers, a Bavarian band, German food, beer, schnapps and much more. Last year, we had a sold-out venue of 550 tickets! Most importantly, we will “schunkel” for a good cause, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
