July 2 – August 25, 2019 Opening Reception: July 2 at 7 p.m. Urban Art Photography – photographs of murals referencing ancient Egyptian symbols and artworks combined with contemporary socio-political messages. Owen Murray currently works with multi-disciplinary teams comprised of egyptologists, archaeologists, conservators, stone masons, photographers and artists through various research institutions in Luxorm, Egypt. Owen has also worked on cultural heritage projects in Canada, Lebanon, Turkmenistan, Oman and Cameroon. His photographs reflect the faces, figures and facades of diverse cultures past and present, standing testament to how human identity reveals itself through the ages.
