Gioconda Barbuto and Wen Wei Wang will create two new pieces for Ballet Edmonton’s final performance of the season. Gioconda is an internationally recognized Italian-Canadian dancer and choreographer with over 50 works to her credit and has created work for internationally acclaimed dance companies including Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Ballet BC, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, Alberta Ballet and Ballet Kelowna, to name a few.
