The 88th BC Highland Games & Scottish Festival is a community celebration of BC’s original immigrant community. We’re in a new location in Coquitlam. Take Skytrain to the end of the Evergreen line at Lafarge Lake Station…and listen for the bagpipes across the lake. It’s a day and a half of piping & live Celtic music . It begins Friday eve, June 14 with free entertainment in the park, and continues all day Sat ($15) with competitions, kids activities, whisky school, live entertainment, vendors, food, piping, massed pipe bands, the world champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band and even a few surprises. Wear your kilts, plaids and tartans. Everyone welcome to “The Games at the End of the Train”.
