On Sunday, January 13th, join us in the parlour for Chaccone with Nancy Dinovo, violin. Violinist Nancy DiNovo will perform a solo program entitled Chaconne on January 13th. The concert features two monumental works for solo violin written two centuries apart – the Bach D Minor Partita from 1723 and the Bartok Solo Sonata from 1944. These two works represent the pinnacle of violin writing and musical expression from their respective style periods and are expertly interpreted by the masterful DiNovo.
