Join the Park Spark Team at Blue Mountain Park to honour those who have served our country by contributing to a community display in preparation for Remembrance Day. •Paint-a-Poppy – Paint a poppy onto the lawn area at Blue Mountain Park surrounding Veteran’s Way. •Messages of Remembrance – Write a message of remembrance on yellow ribbons then tie it to a tree in Blue Mountain Park along Veteran’s Way. After November 16th, messages will be transcribed and sent to a Canadian veterans group. •Coquitlam Remembers Flag Painting – New for 2018, you are invited to help paint 12 banners that will wrap the tennis court fencing along Veteran’s Way. Join the Park Spark team at the following times: •November 01 – 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. •November 02 – 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. •November 03 – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. •November 04 – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. •November 05 – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. •November 06 – 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. •November 07 – 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. •November 08 – 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. •November 09 – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. •November 10 - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All members of the public are invited!
