Symposium and Resource Fair – Medical cannabis, pain research and exercise hot topics.

Half of all medical cannabis users in Canada have arthritis.  The chronic pain can be life-altering and managing it can be difficult.  Medical cannabis as a solution to chronic pain is just one of the many topics to be addressed at the Arthritis Society’s Pain: Relief is within reach Symposium with Webcast and Resource Fair.

Pain:  Relief is Within Reach.  Learn what pain is, what treatment options are available, and how to make informed decisions about personal pain management.  This symposium includes live and online presentations.  The day includes lunch and a Resource Fair.

Speaking in Saskatoon will be Trevor Donald, physiotherapist and owner of Donald Physiotherapy, who will address the importance of managing pain by keeping active.  Trevor and his wife, Michelle, own Donald Physiotherapy in Saskatoon and Davidson.  He has been a physiotherapist for more than 15 years as well as a clinical teaching assistant for more than ten years at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Medicine and School of Physical Therapy.

This event is free and includes lunch for in-person attendees.  Advance registration is required to assure a seat and email link to the live stream.
