SHIPPED Waterfront Festival

MASSIVE NEW WATERFRONT FESTIVAL ARRIVES IN NORTH VANCOUVER AUGUST 11, 2018 City of North Vancouver in partnership with the Lower Lonsdale Business Improvement Area (LLBIA), is launching the first-ever large-scale FREE summer festival to be held at the waterfront, in Lower Lonsdale The Shipyards District, on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from noon to 10 p.m. SHIPPED Waterfront Festival will feature musical acts from across BC that are scheduled to perform on five music stages. Kids will enjoy Seaspan Family Zone in The Pipe Shop building while the young-at-heart will appreciate the Zip Line, Euro-Bungee and Axe Throwing, two licensed areas, artisans and vendors, DJ’s, buskers, intimate acoustic sets and more. Local restaurants will be open for business! The musical line-up will feature HUMANS, a JUNO-nominated indie-electronic duo, who are enjoying critical North American aclaim, and have appeared at major festivals including Coachella, Osheaga, Shambala, CMW and SXSW. Other acts scheduled to perform include Leisure Club, Sam The Astronaut, Tonye Aganaba, Colin Bullock, Blue Strange, Sweetz, Smile Band, DJ Marvel & Seko from The Freshest, Chloe Morgan, DJ Goodspin, North Vancouver’s DJ Kelso, DJ Flipout, DJ Goodspin, Rico Uno from The Freshest, Colin Bullock, Chloe Morgan and Olin Brix. Parking will be limited so biking, walking or transit is encouraged and a bike valet service will be available.
