THE NANAIMO UKULELE FESTIVAL JULY 14 – 15, 2018 Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, Canada Come join us in the Harbour City of Nanaimo, located on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada for our “Great Little Festival.” A two day event featuring performances and workshops by The Naked Waiters, a young, dynamic ukulele trio from Provo, Utah and Cynthia Kinnunen, a Level 3 JHUI instructor all the way from Guelph, Ontario. Cynthia will lead an Ookestra workshop and Liz DeBarros, a Level 2 JHUI instructor from Vancouver Island, will be offering workshops for Absolute Beginners. On Sunday, come take in the ukulele jamboree. There will be a free concert, open mic and the ever popular “Sing & Strum” led by the Revolving Doors, a local band from Parksville, B.C. Arbutus Music and Tapestry Music reps will be there with more ukulele information, books and ukuleles. The website has all the information, including links to accommodation websites.
