World Vision Global 6K for Water – Maple Ridge

Participate locally in the Global World Vision 6K for Water! The event will take place at 9 AM on June 16th at Maple Ridge Secondary. It’s family friendly and the day before Father’s day so a great family event! It can be a run or walk, and we’ll have some fun activities/stations around the track for participants to take part in as they run/walk like picnic-style games and races, tattoos and more! Adults register for $50, and for each registration one person will get clean water! Also, because World Vision has corporate sponsors, kids under 18 can register for just $25 and get the same $50 impact! Everyone gets a t-shirt and race bib sent to them when they register, and they will get a fancy medal when the complete the run/walk. Race bibs are all unique and each one has a face of a child that will benefit from World Vision clean water projects. And if a participant feels connected to their person on their bib, they can sponsor them after the event! There is also an opportunity for organizations/businesses/schools/groups/families to set up their own teams, so that they can challenge/compete against others!
