Come cheer on the athletes at Friday nights first annual Party in the Park at Hawrelak Park, brought to you by WTS Edmonton. Enjoy craft beer, socializing, games, live entertainment and music from DJ Harmon B at Edmonton’s biggest backyard party! Watch 100 Elite Athletes from over 30 countries take over Edmonton in the World Triathlon Series Race. This is not only a chance for athletes to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, but it is also an important stop on the way to this year’s Grand Final in Gold Coast, Australia. Come help them achieve their triathlon dream. Athletes will swim, bike and run in a variety of events including the first ever Olympic qualifying Mixed Relay Series in Canada for Elite Athletes. Also, on Saturday morning you can support our local amateur athletes competing on the same course. Come down to Hawrelak park to enjoy a drink, live entertainment and cheer on the athletes; let’s show the world “a city of champions”.
