The final concert of the Kensington Sinfonia’s 2017/18 season will feature works including Purcell’s “Chaconne” from “The Gordian Knot Untied”, Philip Glass’s Echorus for two violins, Devienne’s Flute Concerto in E minor with flutist Sarah Gieck, and a new premiere from outgoing Artistic Director Donovan Seidle, based on Lewis Carroll’s nonsense-word poem, “Jabberwocky”. The winner of Kensington Sinfonia’s 8th Annual Student Concerto Competition, 16-year-old violist Tilman Sandvoss, will also join the Sinfonia to perform Telemann’s Viola Concerto in G major – the first concerto written for the viola. The concert will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church (3527 Boulton Road NW, Calgary).
 Tickets are $25 (general) / $20 (students/seniors) / FREE (children 12 and under) and are available online through http://www.kensingtonsinfonia.ca, or at the door.
