Tibetan Buddhist Monk Kushok Lobsang Dhamchoe continues his commentary on Shantideva’s landmark text on cultivating the altruistic heart that works for the benefit of all beings day and night, The Way of the Bodhisattva. Chapter 7 describes Joyous Effort which means having the courage to persevere no matter what obstacles arise. This one day teaching retreat combines Kushok’s valuable philosophical instruction, meditation, and the opportunity to have dharma questions answered by Kushok.
