This Kingston Chamber Choir concert will feature Messe Solennelle by composer Louis Vierne with accompanist Michael Capon, organ, and guest artist Flutissimo, a Kingston flute ensemble directed by Anne Palmer.
The Catholic mass provides us with a rich legacy of wonderful choral music stretching back many centuries.
This particular mass is composed by Vierne, a French organist and composer, and a contemporary of the better- known Maurice Ravel, Gabriel Fauré, and Claude Debussy.
