Country legends ALABAMA are bringing their Southern Drawl Tour to Bell MTS Place this summer. ALABAMA Fan Club presale takes place starting Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. local. Venue/Radio presale – Thursday, Feb. 1, 10 a.m. local with the general on sale Friday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. local. Tickets start at $45.50 plus fees and are available at ticketmaster.ca.

ALABAMA is the band that changed everything. They brought country music to the mainstream and from side stage to the main stage. ALABAMA introduced rock style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience. In the 40 years cousins Randy, Jeff and Teddy have been together, the group has sold over 75 million records and have charted 43 #1 singles including such hits as “I’m In A Hurry,” “Dixieland Delight,” “Mountain Music” and “Old Alabama” with Brad Paisley, a record that will likely never be surpassed in any genre.

They have won over 178 CMA Awards, Grammy Awards, ACM Awards and counting. They’ve earned 21 Gold ®, Platinum ® and Multi-Platinum ® albums and were named the RIAA’s Country Group of the Century. But the boys from Fort Payne are not content to rest on past glories. Joining ALABAMA is Canadian legend and blue collar hero Charlie Major. Rising to the forefront of the Canadian music scene in the early to mid-nineties, Charlie had a heyday at radio as he became the first Canadian artist in history to score six BDS #1 hits off his debut album.
