Spring Break Day Camp

The Children’s Museum offers fun-filled day camps that get kids’ minds and bodies moving during spring and summer breaks. Our Day Camps are a great, safe place for kids to spend their holidays. Museum campers will create, discover, learn, and meet new friends as they explore exciting themes related to our galleries and special travelling exhibitions. Grouped with others of a similar age, campers will enjoy stimulating, age-appropriate activities all day long. With indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, time in the galleries, special guests, and a field trip (in summer camps), your children are sure to have a memorable week full of adventure! Please Note: Our Spring Break Day Camp activities are suitable for children in Kindergarten through Grade 4 in the 2017-2018 School Year. Our Summer Day Camp activities are suitable for children entering Kindergarten through Grade 4 in the upcoming 2018-2019 School Year. Day Camp Details Spring Break Day Camp: Monday, March 26 – Thursday, March 29, 2018* Summer Day Camps: Monday, July 2 – Friday, August 31, 2018 Times: 9:25AM – 4:00PM (Early drop-off from 8:15AM – 9:25AM and late pick-up from 4:00PM – 5:00PM available at no additional cost) Rates: $175/week (*Note: Short weeks will be pro-rated) (Children’s Museum Members save 10% on registration!) Spring Break Day Camp Daily Themes Brave Little Builders can join us for four days of time in the galleries, fun with our Spring Break Line-Up, games, crafts, building with bricks, and more. Our action-packed week has a different theme every day! **NEW FOR 2018!** The Children’s Museum Day Camp is now open to children in Kindergarten through Grade 4. March 26: Masterpieces In The Making Building and art go hand in hand as we spend the day crafting incredible creations! Join us as we kick Spring Break off by designing, building, and defending our very own castles! Focus on the Arts March 27: Builders From Far Away Lands Join us on a whirlwind trip around the world as we explore all the different ways people build! Create the blueprints for your very own building, and later use our Tumble Zone blocks as we watch our own city come to life! Focus on Social Studies March 28: Hard Hats & Thinking Caps Put your thinking caps on, it’s time to experiment! Today will be filled with discoveries as we explore the science behind what we build! Keep the scientific fun going by building and decorating your very own lava lamp to take home! Focus on Science and Mathematics March 29: Builders In Motion Day Camp might almost be over, but we’re not slowing down! Join us for our final day filled with fun and games! Help build part of our very own Spring Break Carnival, and put your skills to the test with our carnival games! Focus on Physical Education
