On December 23 and 24, Cibo Trattoria’s cozy downtown dining room will play host to an authentic “Feast of Seven Fishes” – an Italian Christmas Eve tradition with a spectacular menu featuring seven flavourful dishes inspired by the old country. Chef Josh Gonneau has sourced some of the freshest seafood available to craft tantalizing plates such as B.C. Spot Prawns with creamy polenta, chive oil and herb bread crumbs, and Hokkaido Sea Scallops with Calabrian chili crust, tomato water, beets and roasted squash. The entire tasting menu is available for $88 per person with suggested wine pairings also available at an additional $75 per person.
