The City of Saskatoon and the Friends of the Bowl invite residents of HOLIDAY PARK AND AREA to an open house to learn about the Master Plan for the Gordie Howe Sports Complex. The project is being led by the Friends of the Bowl and construction is expected to begin in 2018.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING: This is your opportunity to view the Master Plan for the Gordie Howe Sports Complex. You are welcome to view the plan, speak to staff and ask questions. The open house meeting format allows you to “come and go” between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
WHAT IS BEING PLANNED FOR THE PARK? Exciting improvements will transform the park into a world-class sports destination, including: new multi-sport turf field, new multi-sport training centre, new track and field area built to Class II AAF certification standards, improved 400 meter speed skating oval with new multi-sport building, and much, much more!
