West End Gallery presents a solo exhibition of new work, opening Saturday November 18. At once familiar and new, Leclerc’s landscapes are thick with texture and colour, simultaneously suggesting and obscuring the landscape. Seen through Leclerc’s romantic’s eyes, scenes of rural landscapes become memory-like in the viewer’s consciousness, evoking the sense of warm wind through vineyards in France or coming home in the last glow of the setting sun during harvest time. Rich in both history and technique, Leclerc’s latest work glows on gallery walls. All artwork subject to pre-sale. Exhibition continues through November 30.
