Cellar Live will proudly host the launch of JUNO-nominated jazz bassist Jodi Proznick’s upcoming album, Sun Songs, in a CD release party Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 8pm at Frankie’s Jazz Club (765 Beatty Street). Be among the first to hear live Proznick’s latest creations on the self-produced album Sun Songs, a deeply personal and uplifting collection of works embracing the pendulum of life. Spend the evening with Proznick, a multi-time National Jazz Award-winner, and her stellar quartet – Tilden Webb (piano), Jesse Cahill (drums), and Steve Kaldestad (tenor saxophone) – alongside special guest, award-winning vocalist and host of CBC Radio 2 Saturday Night Jazz, Laila Biali.
