LIVE MUSIC at THE ROXY THEATRE: Launching with Andy Shauf

Anyone who has visited THE ROXY THEATRE appreciates the unique vibe of one of Canada’s last atmospheric theatres.  The ambience of the Spanish courtyard and quaint murals by Canadian artist Fred Harrison have made this theatre a cornerstone of the Riversdale community since it was built in 1930.  The Roxy Theatre is now embarking on a significant upgrade, thanks to the partnership with Dan Canfield, owner of Village Guitar & Amp – a new Riversdale boutique guitar shop that hosts small live music events by night.  Under Canfield’s guidance, The Roxy Theatre is investing into new lighting and sound systems that will make it the best sounding live music venue in the city.  The inaugural concert on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17th will be unforgettable – a dramatic solo show featuring ANDY SHAUF, an Estevan-born artist who later moved to Regina and gradually earned international acclaim for his talent, not only as a singer/songwriter but also as a producer and multi-instrumentalist.  His latest album “The Party” was nominated for 4 Junos, 2 Canadian Independent Music Awards, and 5 Western Canadian Music Awards.
