Spoo-ook-tacular Britannia Mine Museum

Enjoy two weekends of Halloween fun – October 21st and 22nd, and October 28th and 29th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for our third annual Spoo-ook-tacular event! Special event Admission rate of $15 for 5+ years*. There are plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy including a spooky train ride in the Historic Underground, science shows, critters galore, and a dress up photo booth. Full Event Description: Special Train Ride Spooky stories are best told in the right environment. So, we’re taking visitors inside our tunnels for a special train ride and spine-tingling story underground! For ages 5 and over. Strange Science Show Back by popular demand, our Strange Science Show will have all the smoke, fire and fun of last year’s show, plus a new batch of potions and tricks to wow the crowd. Don’t forget to check out the Apothecary after the show to recreate some of the experiments for yourself, and enjoy a special hands-on table from Below BC. Witch’s House Do you dare enter the Witch’s House? Take a peek inside but, remember, everything is not as it seems… Critter Emporium They creep. They crawl. And they’re live at Britannia Mine Museum! Get up close and personal with our tiny friends at the Critter Emporium, courtesy of Aquariums West. Village Fair What’s your warlock name? What adventures does your future hold? Find the answers to these questions and more with the games at the Village Fair. Dress Up and Snap a Pic Double Shutter Images will be on site with their photo booth. Wear your costume, or choose from props in the booth, and get your picture taken for free! A digital copy will be emailed to you after. Admission rates give full access to all Halloween activities, Spooky Tour and Museum exhibits. If you wish to take a regular underground guided tour, full admission rates apply.
