Join the Ostomy Canada Society Kingston Stomastrollers for the fifth annual Stoma Stroll Canada-wide & second annual for Kingston. Stop by Lake Ontario Park (920 King Street West) on October 7 from 11am to 3pm. Raise $100 & receive a FREE tote bag, T-shirt, & water bottle! Join us for a family BBQ, fundraising games, 50/50 raffle & pledge walk! All proceeds support individuals & families living with an ostomy, helping them to live life to the fullest through support, education, collaboration & advocacy. Ostomy Canada Society is a non-profit volunteer based organization dedicated to all people living with an ostomy, and their families, helping them to live life to the fullest through support, education, collaboration, and advocacy. The Kingston Ostomy peer support group is connected with the Ostomy Canada Society and acts as a platform of communication which is dedicated to supporting all of its members and their families.
Donations through the annual Stoma Stroll go directly towards supporting the mission of Ostomy Canada, specifically to Ostomy Kids Camp and our Ostomy Canada magazine. These donations also help support our education awards program for nurses and post-secondary students.
