Megalos Restaurant is proud to present The Kim Pollard Band on Saturday August 26 as 2017 Limestone City Blues Festival. Kim Pollard writes and sings with an extraordinary passion and conviction that will move her heart to yours as evident on her two internationally produced CDs -Wonder’ and ‘Surrender’. Kim now fronts an exceptional group of musicians: saxophonist Ian ‘Koko’ Kojima (Chris deBurgh, BB King, Rick James), bassist Alec Barken (Filet of Soul, Ghetto Express), guitarist Greg Law, alto sax Paul Stacey, and drummer Paul David. Twice they have represented the Loyal Blues Fellowship at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis as well as being featured artists at several major blues festivals including Chuck Jackson’s Southside Shuffle. No cover with Bluesfest wristband.
