Get out and get active this Canada Day at Wesbrook Village! On July 1st, come run the beautiful trails of Pacific Spirit Park at the Run Canada Day 10K/5K and 1K Kids Run! The race, sponsored by Scotiabank and the Running Room and hosted by Wesbrook Village, will begin at the Running Room store and will take participants through Pacific Spirit Park and back to Wesbrook Village. After the run, runners can enjoy FREE hot dogs and a Canada Day cake provided by Save on Foods. Not a runner? No problem! The BBQ is open to everyone with a donation of $2 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Wesbrook Village will also be hosting a free Kid’s Zone featuring bouncy castles, face painters, and more! The Wesbrook Community Centre’s splash pad will also be open for kid’s, or adults, to cool off in after the run. Wesbrook Village is the perfect place to celebrate this Canada Day; we can’t wait to see you!
