Discover your inner calligrapher by trying your hand at the expressive arts of Japanese sumi ink and brush calligraphy. Led by master calligrapher Kimura Tsubasa, participants will have the opportunity to explore the traditional tools, materials, methods and history of this fascinating art form. 10:30 am: Exploring Ink and Brush (Beginners) 2:30 pm: The Expressive Art of Japanese Calligraphy (Intermediate) Registration is required. Adults – $30 Youth/Student/Senior – $25 MOA Members – $15 UBC Students/Staff/Faculty – $10
