Are you a new immigrant? Home ownership is a dream to many immigrants, but it is also a big challenge. ASSIST Community Services Centre is pleased to invite an experienced realtor to walk you through your first home buying process.
The workshop covers:
-Financial preparation and budgeting – down payment and mortgage
-Housing types, size, new or second-hand, and location
-Professionals who can help – realtor, mortgage broker, lawyer, home inspector and insurer
-Expenses of purchase and selling a house – lawyer fee, inspection cost and insurance premium
-Radon in Homes
-Market information
-Other housing resources
