Bursting with Cape Breton humor and rich with the author’s signature monologues, Marion Bridge by Daniel MacIvor is the story of three sisters who hold a bitterly comic vigil over their dying mother. Featuring Teresa (Vicki Barta) a nun, Louise (Cheryl Dendoff) a TV-loving recluse, and Agnes (Heather Haseltine) a liquor-loving actress, this heartwarming “slice of life” focuses on the humanity of its subjects – flaws, misunderstandings, and inner worlds. This play is ECHO Players’ entry into Theatre B.C’s. North Island Zone Festival.
