The 21th Annual North Saskatchewan Wind Symphony Summer Concert will be held on Sunday, August30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Quance Theatre on the University of Saskatchewan campus. The North Saskatchewan Wind Symphony, directed by Dr. Glen Gillis , is comprised of invited musicians from Saskatoon and surrounding community. Since 2005, the ensemble meets in late August to prepare a variety of wind band music from traditional to contemporary, to newly released compositions, highlighting Canadian content in their annual summer concert. North Saskatchewan Wind Symphony will also feature conductors Shaun Bzdel, Stacey Mortenson-Spokes and Paul Suchan. The North Saskatchewan Wind Symphony is sponsored by the University of Saskatchewan School for the Arts – Music and St. John’s Music.
