Afro-Carib Fest is an award-winning FREE weekend festival that celebrates the diverse cultures of African, Caribbean, and multicultural communities through arts, music, food and dance. The festival will occur on August 22 & 23, from 12 pm – 9 pm, at Thomson Memorial Park, Scarborough. The event features live music performances from over 120 local and national artists, a new Taste of Afro-Carib Fest food competition, exciting dance competitions with cash prizes, a vendor marketplace, food zone, drum and dance workshops, cultural parade, kids zone, raffle draws with prizes, and much more. From high-energy dance performances and pulsating music to artistic displays and mouthwatering multicultural delicacies, Afro Carib Fest offers something for everyone.
