The UbeVerse Festival is a nine day celebration of the Philippines’ iconic purple yam and the rich heritage it represents. UbeVerse Week from May 30-June 7 takes place at participating local businesses in Winnipeg and surrounding areas that will create their own “version” of an ube-inspired food and/or drink for the community to vote the best! The UbeVerse Festival takes place on June 6-7 for the ultimate ube celebration at the Tyndall Park Grounds and Community Centre, featuring a pop-up market, entertainment, activations, and a multitude of ube-inspired food/drinks to try!
