NusaHaus is built by diaspora for diaspora to reconnect and cultivate a sense of belonging amongst individuals with shared ancestry and cultural background, specifically from the Nusantara region (Maritime Southeast Asia: Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, etc.). From February 20th – 28th, we will be hosting a week-long art exhibition showcasing Nusantara creatives! Inspired by Malaysian “Kopitiam” culture, our goal is to create a space for everyone to just “lepak” (hangout). Come support and connect with Nusantara artists/vendors during our Opening Night on Friday, February 20th from 7pm – 11pm. Purchase food and drinks from local Indonesian vendors while enjoying live music by Malaysian DJs, or drop by the exhibition while sipping on some “kopi” (coffee) from February 21st – 28th.
