Tribute to Sly and The Family Stone

The Project Sly Collective is proud to announce a spectacular, one-night-only tribute to Sly and The Family Stone, taking place Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Le Ministère (4521 Boul. St-Laurent, Montreal). This high-energy celebration will bring together some of Montreal’s most acclaimed vocalists and musicians to honor one of the most influential funk and soul bands in music history. The event will feature electrifying performances by Alan Prater of The Brooks, Danny Blanco, Coco Thompson, Wayne Tennant, and members of Perpetual Praise Ministries—a powerhouse lineup embodying the spirit of Sly’s message: unity, joy, and fearless creativity. Under the musical direction of Ben Comeau, the band includes an all-star assembly of talent: Harvey Drums, David Vandervort, Cedric de Saint Rome, and Daniel Joseph. Together, they will reignite classics such as Everyday People, Dance to the Music, Stand!, and If You Want Me to Stay, bringing new energy to the timeless sound that shaped generations.
