The event features performances by MelaFrique, Saint & The Full 100 Band, Skystar, Timothy Noel, Crystal Reid, and Mykal Read, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Food for the Poor Jamaica for immediate hurricane relief efforts. About Hurricane Melissa Hurricane Melissa made landfall on Jamaica’s south coast on October 28, 2025, as a Category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 195 mph (314 km/ph). Prime Minister Andrew Holness declared all of Jamaica a disaster area, with entire communities demolished and thousands displaced. “Hurricane Melissa demolished entire Jamaican communities, and thousands of families are facing urgent need for shelter, food, and medical supplies,” said Dominic Reynolds. “This concert is about letting our families back home know they are not alone. Edmonton stands with Jamaica.” The concert is an immediate relief response from the Alberta community, and we will use the opportunity to share further details on the full strategic plan for ongoing support.
