Magic Shoppe w/Bloom Effect and DOUR Pure Phaze DJs and live visuals from Northern Light Show /////// Magic Shoppe are known for their Wall Of Guitar sound. Drawing stylistic inspiration from My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Raveonettes, Sonic Youth and Loop, the band has a heavy shoegaze sound that flirts with the outer edges of noise rock. Dark, fuzzed-out guitars can wash into soundscapes, or crash into a sonic maelström. Resurrection Machine is Magic Shoppe’s sixth EP. It will be available on semi-translucent violet-colored vinyl via Little Cloud Records (US/CAN) and FuzzedUp/AstroMoon Records (UK/EU), as well as on your preferred digital streaming platform starting Friday, September 12, 2025. Resurrection Machine is a mesmerizing dive into the heart of shoegaze, fusing the dense, crushingly heavy textures of My Bloody Valentine with the chord-savvy energy of Swervedriver. This EP balances a classic ’90s shoegaze feel with the sounds of more contemporary bands like Nothing and DIIV. On this EP, the guitars steal the show, roaring with crackling distortion and layered saturation that feels both overwhelming and melodic. The mix is lush yet raw, avoiding overproduction in favor of an organic, garage-rock grit, reminiscent of Isn’t Anything-era MBV. Beneath the haze, the EP’s catchy chord progressions shine through, making it as addictive as it is immersive. Resurrection Machine is a powerhouse of shoegaze energy—loud, textured, and emotionally gripping. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Shoegaze or new to its allure, this EP demands to be played at full volume. For fans of: My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Swervedriver, Nothing, DIIV. Magic Shoppe will be touring the EU/UK later in 2025. FB event: https://www.facebook.com/share/1BZ8p5doHX/
