Global BC Supports 3rd Annual Salmon Sessions Music Festival

The 3rd Annual Salmon Sessions Music Festival is a vibrant music festival supporting the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club’s (SFGC) new salmon hatchery project. For 67 years, SFGC has run the Little Campbell River Salmon Hatchery, crucial for BC’s food security. Now, needing a new hatchery, they seek urgent support. Join us at Salmon Sessions for a day of live music (5 bands!), delicious food and a beverage garden with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Learn about the hatchery’s operations and enjoy the serene property. Volunteers offer hatchery tours. 🌿 Festival Highlights Live Music: Enjoy performances from outstanding BC bands spanning rock, country, and pop genres. Food Trucks: Savor delicious offerings from popular local vendors. Beverage Garden: Raise a toast with beers, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. Guided Hatchery Tours: Learn about the vital conservation work at the Little Campbell Hatchery through informative tours. Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the stunning setting along the serene Little Campbell River. 🎤 2025 Music Lineup Karen Lee Batten: An eight-time BCCMA Female Artist of the Year and Canadian Idol Top 10 finalist, Batten brings her powerhouse country-soul vocals with a rock edge to the stage. The Promised: Known for their dynamic roots-rockabilly sound, this band has gained recognition through recurring performances on Netflix’s Virgin River. Antonio Larosa: Winner of the 2023 BC Country Music Award for Roots Artist of the Year, Larosa delivers soulful vocals and high-energy country rock performances. Richard Tichelman: An emerging Canadian pop artist, Tichelman is celebrated for his storytelling and engaging stage presence.
