United Community:
- MS Walk is a one-day event happening in over 50 in-person locations in Canada. If no in person location works for you, join our virtual MS Walk and take meaningful action from anywhere in the country.
- On Sunday, May 25, bring your friends, family, and/or coworkers together for a day of meaningful action. Your support is key in our road to a brighter future for people living with MS.
- MS Walk offers all participants an opportunity to take tangible action. Whether you’re supporting a loved one, you’re newly diagnosed and seeking guidance, or you have been navigating MS for years, MS Walk offers a platform to raise awareness, fund groundbreaking research, and advocate for change.
Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world:
- By walking with us, you are helping more people become aware of MS and its impact.
- Over 90,000 Canadians live with MS. On average 12 Canadians are diagnosed with MS every day. That means every two hours, someone in Canada is diagnosed with MS.
- The fundraising goal for the 2025 MS Walk is $4 million. Funds raised help improve the lives of people living with MS across Canada, no matter where they live, through a variety of support programs, research breakthroughs, and advocacy.
- MS is a neurological disease of the central nervous system (CNS) which includes the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Everyone experiences MS differently and every journey is unique.
Friends & Family:
- MS impacts all Canadians not just the people who live with it. It affects their family, friends, and community – we are all touched by this disease.
- MS Walk is where you show up for your loved ones living with MS. Whether you live with MS or know someone who does, MS Walk is the best place to forge meaningful connections and build lifelong relationships that bring us closer toward a world free of MS.
- By joining MS Walk, you not only show your solidarity but also help build a network of hope, strength, and shared resilience for everyone touched by MS.
- MS Bike offers a premium cycling experience from start to finish, for a great cause! It is an energizing challenge you can feel good about, where going the distance makes a difference. Every kilometer you ride brings us closer to a world free of MS. From the moment you register, feel fully supported with training opportunities and connection to thousands of cyclists across Canada.
- Most events are two days long, with accommodation included and cycle distances between 45 and 190km.
- Events take place in 11 locations across Canada from June to September.
