Kirk Centre is thrilled to offer three awesome events in partnership with Culina Family of Restaurants & Catering. Saturday March 29th from 1-4 pm – Indigenous Cooking classes featuring Bannock Tacos with Chef Sindy were you will make Indian Tacos with bannock (fry bread), ground bison, toppings to include corn salsa, grated smoked cheddar, pickled onions, dill sour cream, wild herb salsa, toasted pumpkin seeds Saturday April 5th from 3:30-6:30 pm – In the Italian class with chef Elisa you will make Simple Italian Sauces to level up your culinary game! Pesto, Besciamella, Caponata and Aglio e Olio. Thursday April 24th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm – The Ukrainian class with chef Allison, you will make a vegetarian borscht (knife skills) and pyrohy with potato and cheddar filling. Toppings can include sour cream, bacon bits, caramelized onions, other. Sign up for one, two or all three!
