National Philanthropy Day Luncheon presented by AFP Calgary & Area Chapter

National Philanthropy Day is a celebration of philanthropy – giving, volunteering and charitable engagement and is celebrated annually on November 15^th across North America.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) celebrates this day across its 200+ chapters. National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is the largest philanthropic celebration in Canada and AFP Calgary & Area hosts this annual luncheon featuring the Generosity of Spirit Award recipients and the industry professionals that facilitate giving in our communities. AFP Calgary and Area Chapter recognizes the many individuals, families, groups and businesses who demonstrate the spirit of philanthropy through outstanding contributions of time, talent, leadership and financial support. Our NPD luncheon is presented by ViTreo Group, is the premier opportunity in the Calgary area to recognize the people who want to change our city through philanthropy and the organizations that meet the needs of our growing population. AT our luncheon we will celebrate the idea that everyone can be a philanthropist – young to old, individuals to organizations – and that our contributions are wonderfully unique and extraordinary. The day reminds us that together we make the biggest difference. We are not alone in the world, and the ties of philanthropy unite us as a community. We want to feel that we are making a difference, and philanthropy is the way we can achieve that.
