Elevation Outdoors is proud to bring the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival to Kelowna! Each year the VIMFF takes award-winning and selected films on tour across Canada, the USA, and around the world. Scheduled for Saturday October 19th, at Kelowna Community Theatre, the event will feature a curated selection of some of the most captivating and thought-provoking mountain films as well as a presentation from renowned climber, Ian Welsted. Doors open at 6:00 with a performance from local musician Nico Boesten, and films start at 7:00. This special event promises an unforgettable evening of cinematic artistry and community engagement all while supporting a worthy cause. Proceeds from the event will go towards Elevation Outdoors, a local charity dedicated to offering specially designed outdoor sports programs, personal mentorship and life skills coaching to youth who face barriers to participation.
