Battle of Britain Day 2024 For a great day of aviation history and story telling, please join us at the Canadian Museum of Flight for Battle of Britain Day 2024. Sunday, September 15. “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.” Winston Churchill This year is “RCAF 2024”, and we are marking 100 years of service to our country, inspired by the men and women of the Royal Canadian Air Force. We commemorate “the few”, and also “the many” who supported them on the ground and the home front. On September 15, our aviation discovery center will be humming with vintage aircraft coming and going, radial engine starts, re-enactors and more. On display will be all our wonderful aircraft, plus scale replicas of the Supermarine Spitfire and P-51B Mustang, augmented by a period-correct vintage sports car courtesy Ian Newby. This will be a great family day out for everyone. A day for aviation history buffs. An opportunity for those wanting to connect with RCAF memories. Join us!
