We all have stories from our lives we wish to share. From travel tales to your personal memoirs, creative non-fiction employs creative writing techniques from literature, such as poetry and fiction, to retell a true story. Learn how to retell your own personal stories in this workshop for beginners! In this two-hour workshop, you’ll explore the different types of creative non-fiction, how to find a style and voice that suits you, and learn the basic mechanics of creating a cohesive story out of your personal experiences. You’ll also start writing your own piece, with the opportunity for feedback from instructor Tereasa Maillie.
