Hello, We are hoping you will cover this story and subsequent art exhibition by eight aging female artists who participated in a nude photo shoot on Wreck Beach in 2020. Our purpose was to turn our artistic gaze towards our own bodies hoping to dispel preconceived presumptions about aging females. We wanted to explore how viewing ourselves would affect our artistic practice and how we could use our art forms to express the beauty, strength and resilient spirit of women our age.
