Are you ready for eight weeks of free jazz concerts by local up-and-coming young jazz bands?!
The Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival is putting on a new Youth Concert Showcase Series every Sunday.
Here’s the incredible line-up of talented young musicians:
⭐ May 26: Fort Langley Fine Arts School Junior & Senior Jazz Ensembles
⭐ June 2: Max Holmes Quartet
⭐ June 9: Gordy Li’s SMURF Quartet
⭐ June 16: Ben Wayne Kyle Trio
⭐ June 23: James Vickers
⭐ June 30: JO49 = Jazz Orchestra of the 49th Parallel
⭐ July 7: Ruthie Ha Quartet
⭐ July 14: Trading Fours
Join us in supporting these young musicians and bands, enjoy local art exhibits and take guided tours of the restored CNR train station, which dates back to 1915! 🚂
At the opening concert on May 26, the concert will begin at 12:30pm with an Indigenous blessing and opening remarks before the music starts at 1pm. The Festival will also be announcing the winners of the Rising Star Jazz Awards later in the performance!
Proudly sponsored by Global BC.
