VSO School of Music: Sisters in Jazz 2024 Join industry professionals Shruti Ramani (voice), Ingrid Stitt (saxophone), Jocelyn Waugh (trumpet), Jennifer Scott (piano & voice) and Natalie Tweed (drums), to explore jazz for a day in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. Become immersed in rhythms, improvisation, composition, and learn about the women who’ve brought magnificence to this popular genre of music. The VSO School of Music’s Sisters in Jazz will celebrate and encourage female- and nonbinary-identified music lovers in a supportive space with jam sessions, workshops, mentoring, and an afternoon performance.
