Kelowna Friends of Library are hosting 33rd annual Great Okanagan Book Sale Immaculate Conception Parish Hall, 839 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna Wed 1 Nov (1:30pm – 8pm) Thu 2 & Fri 3 Nov (9:30am – 8pm) Sat 4 Nov (9:30am – 2pm) Fundraiser in support of Summer Reading Club and year-round programming for children, teens and adults plus maker spaces and special author and speaker events at downtown Kelowna, Mission and Rutland branches of the Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) and contributions towards system-wide needs of all 30 ORL branches. 20,000+ items. Gently used books for all ages and interests at bargain prices – most adult and young adult books $2 plus specially priced items, ideal for seasonal gifts – room of children’s books $1 – Audio & large print books, puzzles & games. Tables sorted by subject and genre categories & replenished continuously. Cash and potential trial of debit payment
