Nivrita Ganguly is a financial journalist with nearly a decade’s experience covering business and economic news as a reporter and anchor.

Her work focuses on consumer issues, inflation, monetary policy, banking, financial markets, technology and billionaires.

Nivrita is a recipient of the Chevening scholarship and has an MA Financial Journalism degree from City, University of London, UK.

Before joining Global News in September 2023, she worked at Bloomberg TV India and Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Nivrita spends her free time exploring Toronto’s parks and ravines and enjoys being introduced to dogs.
