Before moving to Global News, Offman worked at The Globe and Mail for 12 years in a variety of editorial leadership roles, including foreign editor. A co-winner of a National Newspaper Award for an investigation into foreign interference in Canadian politics, he started his career in New York, where his reporting on politics and culture appeared in the Financial Times, Salon, Wired, GQ and Time Magazine.
