TORONTO — Canadian pop rock band Hedley will perform a special show Dec. 20 to mark the grand opening of Canada’s first Hard Rock Casino.
The rebranding of the Boulevard Casino in Coquitlam, B.C. comes after a multi-million dollar renovation.
Hedley, whose roots are in Abbotsford, is set to play hits like “Kiss You Inside Out’ and “Perfect” in the 1,100-seat theatre.
The group’s latest album, Wild Life, comes out Nov. 11.
“Having Hedley open the first Hard Rock Casino in Canada is truly amazing and we are thrilled that a band of their magnitude with local roots will launch what will be the entertainment destination of choice,” said Raj Mutti, executive director of Hard Rock Casino Vancouver.
The facility boasts seven restaurants, an 80,000-square-foot gaming floor with more than 950 slot machines and table games.
The Boulevard Casino opened in 2001 and underwent a major expansion in 2006.
