TORONTO – New York City mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner had a shouting match with an Orthodox Jewish voter—identified by The Yeshiva World News as Saul Kessler—and it was (with Weiner’s luck) all caught on camera.
The highlights:
Weiner: “By the way, I’ve worked very hard for this community and delivered more than you will ever in your entire life.”
Man: “You never delivered anything to me or any of these people.”
Weiner: “You know nothing. Your ignorance has been shown to the entire world.”
Man: “You deliver for yourself.”
Weiner: “Baloney.”
The exchange reportedly took place on a campaign stop in Borough Park on Wednesday afternoon. Kessler allegedly called Weiner an expletive before the camera started rolling, which prompted Weiner to go into the bakery where he’d been insulted.
“Yeah, it takes one to know one, jacka**,” Weiner said during his initial exit from the bakery.
